Y38 Verity A
Active
This is Y36 Verity A aka Yankee Clipper on San Francisco Bay, in Southern California.
About Verity A
Y38 was built in the Stone Boatyard by John Linderman and Jack Earhorn. It raced in the San Francisco fleet, then was shipped to Seattle and became part of the Pacific NW fleet. Y38 was owned by The Center for Wooden Boats where it was on display at the museum's dock, and took visitors out for Sunday sails. Known as Yankee Clipper, Y38 was a favorite of the sailing instructors. After about 20 years, Y38 was sold and shipped back to the San Francisco area, where it was restored and renamed Verity A.
