The East Coast Yankees

Yankee No. 1 was built in 1937 by the Britt Brothers in Saugus, Massachusetts. At least 30 Yankees were built on the East Coast over the next three decades, although it's unclear as to what yard the majority of them came out of. In 1947, a half dozen were shipped from Massachusetts to the Cleveland Yacht Club to form the CYC fleet.
