1998 - a trip to the Wooden Boat Rendezvous in Sandusky.

This photo was taken at the 1998 Wooden Boat Rendezvous in Sandusky, Ohio. My dad and Jack Haflinger (former owner of Summer Girl) sailed the boat to Sandusky, about a 50-mile trip each way, and slept aboard for the entire 5-day trip. In the boat are Charlie Steigerwald and Jack Haflinger, and on the dock are me, my kids, Ellen Haflinger and Jane Steigerwald. You can see that at this point, we have a new main, but no roller furling jib yet.
